All of the girls I casted are some of my closest friends from school. One day at break time I was telling them about this idea I had in mind, they became very enthusiastic about it and told me that they would be down to act in it if I ended up choosing it for my opening film. So, that made the decision a lot easier because casting the right actors is a really difficult and exhaustive job. However I could perfectly picture my friend playing these parts and so I even ended up creating each of the characters for them in ways I knew they would succeed to perform.

Then, I thought about the idea of having a male figure in the film. I had a vision for a boy with sharp features and a fierce look. Lola offered asking her boyfriend and as I am friends with him as well I thought it would be a good possibility. He was a good match for the character and accepted to play it mostly because Lola asked him to.

For the crew I thought about Juana not only because I will be filming at her home so she will always be there, but also because she has an awesome talent in everything regarding style and performance. We actually met at our school’s drama club (she is  a year younger) where she stood out for her attentive and helpful attitude, not only rocking the stage but also being a key piece in the backstage section.  When I asked if she would be interested in helping she said yes without a doubt. That same day she started to make inspiration boards . Not because I had asked her to, but because she truly enjoys it. It is really motivating and inspiring working with someone who is as dedicated as her and can tell is really enjoying being part of this project.
